SUBJECT: Ford 4.0 OHV late cylinder head use on early blocks

When replacing cylinder heads on 1990-94 Ford 4.0 OHV engines, it is
acceptable to use the late style head designed for the 1995-2001 engines.
You must also use the late style piston when using this head. The late
piston is identified by the large dish, which creates the proper compression
ratio in the cylinder.
